New York City has recently announced its technologically advanced building permit review and approval platform known as “The NYC Development Hub”.

The HUB offers following “firsts”:
All construction plans are filed and reviewed electronically, eliminating the use of paper.
Plan reviews take place in a virtual environment using a shared, secure website.
Plan reviews are conducted by groups of Department experts.
All City agencies involved in the approval process collaborate to accelerate the approval process.
