NYC's Tallest Tower

The Port Authority’s Executive Director announced today that Freedom Tower will be the tallest building in New York City within a few days. One World Trade Center, (its official address) is only four feet below Empire State Building’s 1,250 feet height. It will cap off at 1,368 feet and 104 floors when completed.

This will mark an important step in New York City’s recovery since 9/11 and a big display of New Yorkers’ toughness and resilience.
